One of the more interesting cases involved a tragic motor vehicle accident in Italy which dramatically impacted a family from Boise. After prolonged litigation in Italy, the case resolved for more than $10 million. Two of the more noteworthy trial verdicts include a $6.15 million verdict obtained in 2006 for the family of a 28-year-old woman who died as a result of a medical error, and a $7.55 million verdict obtained against St. Luke’s Hospital in a wrongful death case in 2001.
More recent verdicts and settlements include a 2014 settlement involving a woman from New Mexico who settled a medical malpractice claim for $5 million. In 2015, Charlie helped an Idaho family resolve a wrongful death medical malpractice claim for $2 million.
Charlie and his wife, Margaret, have four children: Haley, Matt, Mark, and Grace. In addition to spending time with his family, Charlie enjoys various sports activities, including biking and skiing. Charlie also has volunteered as a board member for various local community groups.
